Boundaries
Choose how much of the original emotional intensity you want to encounter
AI-assisted communication
Urta gives you more control over how emotionally difficult messages are received. Invite someone into a private conversation, add a layer of AI-assisted filtering, and communicate without losing your boundaries
A difficult relationship can make every notification feel urgent. Direct messaging gives you only two choices: read everything as it was written, or block communication completely. Urta is being built for the space between those choices
Choose how much of the original emotional intensity you want to encounter
Keep useful tone information without making it the center of the conversation
Decide when to participate, what to reveal, and when a conversation should end
Urta is designed to feel like a familiar chat app: create an account, start and manage conversations, delete messages or conversations, and control your profile while the mediation layer stays quietly in the background.
Create a private conversation and invite the other participant with a secure link
Keeps the message in the sender’s voice while Urta removes harmful or escalating language
Urta communicates the meaning in third person, creating distance from the sender’s wording and tone
Keep the sender’s voice or add more distance by letting Urta relay the message on their behalf
Read, pause, and respond inside a calmer interface built for intentional conversation
Urta analyzes the sender's original draft before mediation and attaches lightweight context signals to the resulting message.
One mood indicator describes the tone Urta detects in the original draft before mediation.
When the original draft contains certain kinds of language, Urta can attach one or more focused warning indicators.
Mood and warning indicators are AI-generated context signals. They are not factual determinations of intent, or guarantees that every harmful message will be identified.
